One redacted bill can settle a question that no tariff order answers.
A tariff order tells you what a charge is. It rarely tells you what the charge is levied on — and for a consumer drawing energy under open access, that difference is worth more than the charge itself.
Two Karnataka bills reconcile only if the fuel adjustment and the pension surcharge are billed on metered consumption less wheeled energy. That treatment appears in no regulation, no tariff order and no computation workbook I have read. It is recorded in Report No. 2 as a lead, not a finding, because the copies came from a public document-sharing site rather than from the licensee.
That is the gap this page exists to close.
A single document for a single month is enough. It does not need to be typical, recent or complete.
State · DISCOM or licensee · tariff category and voltage · billing month · captive, group-captive or third-party · whether you would like to be named
Without the utility, the category and the month, a bill cannot be placed against the order that governs it, and it settles nothing.
Consumer name, account number, connection number, address, location, consumption history, and the document itself. None of it is needed, and none of it appears in anything I publish.
What appears is the treatment: that in a stated state, licensee, category and month, a stated charge was computed on a stated base. Nothing that identifies you or your site.
Please remove the identifying details before the document leaves your organisation — name, account number, connection or meter number, address, and any consumption history beyond the month in question. None of it is needed to answer the question.
If a document cannot be redacted, or you are unsure what to remove, write first and describe it rather than attaching it. There is no upload form on this site, and there will not be one until the storage, access and deletion arrangements behind it are worth trusting.
Send a redacted bill or banking statement and you go on the Tracker's early list. Nothing identifying is kept or reproduced.
If a document cannot leave your organisation, that is understood. A description of the treatment — which base, which line, which month — is worth having on its own.
